All Village offices and facilities will be CLOSED for the Memorial Day Holiday. Trash & Recycle Collection will be Friday, May 31st.

Public Works Dept. - Operator/Laborer PositionThe Village of Saukville is accepting applications for a Part-time Public Works Operator/Laborer position. Position requires flexible work hours to meet the operational needs of the organization, including occasional weekend and evening hours; weekly hours not to exceed 20 hours. Starting wage range is $16 to $20 per hour, DOQ. A pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Application Deadline: Friday, June 7, 2019. The 2019 Assessments Board of Review is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Village Hall. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment for Board of Review or with questions regarding your current assessment value, please contact the Village Assessor at Accurate Appraisal. Rummage Sale SignsYou do not need a permit to place rummage sale signs, but please follow the requirements of Village Ordinance - sec. 205.79E regarding placement and duration of signage. Signs must comply with traffic visibility requirements and are not permitted in Village parks, properties, or median areas. Improperly placed signs will be confiscated. Do not place signs sooner than 24 hours before your sale and remove within 24 hours after sale. When Walking the Dog
The weather is great to get outside and walk the dog! Pet owners, please be aware that Village Ordinance requires that anyone walking their dog(s) must immediately remove any pet waste from public or private properties not owned by them. Please be considerate of people's yards and of all of those out enjoying a walk and pick up after your pets. Pet LicensingAll Village residents owning a dog or cat that is older than six months are required by Village Ordinance, section 61-8, to purchase a pet license. 2019 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall. Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for new pets and when updated rabies shots are required. A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31, 2019. Fees - Dog License: $8 Altered; $10 Non-altered ($5 late fee) Fees - Cat License: $5 Altered; $7 Non-altered ($3 late fee) Recycling - Fees apply: furniture, Freon units, electronics, household batteries, microwave ovens, water softeners, tires, carpet, wood, and more. Summer Playground ProgramThe Village of Saukville offers a Summer Playground Program in conjunction with the Port Washington Parks & Recreation Dept. that includes creative and energetic leaders, active games, theme craft sessions, and fun field trips. Fun weekly themes and occasional field trips are all part of the activities. A trip to the Port Washington outdoor pool, Pirates’ Hollow, is planned once a week (weather permitting). Children are required to pay their own pool admission, either by pass or by daily fee, and bus fee. Field trip costs are not included in program fees. Our goal is to offer a safe and worry-free experience for both the child and parent. This is not a day-care program, but rather an afternoon alternative of outdoor fun and structured activities geared to kids ages 6 through 12. Live At The TriangleSaukville's “Live At The Triangle” is proud to present a schedule of six FREE concerts throughout the summer held every other Wednesday night, June through August, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the bandstand in Veterans Park. “Live At The Triangle” is planned and presented by the Village of Saukville, and made possible through the generous donations of sponsors and volunteers. Just bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs for an evening of fun and great music. Food and beverages are available for purchase from local non-profit groups.
