2019 Residential Recycle Collection Schedule

2019 DPW Services & Yard Hours - Hours and Information for the Village of Saukville Compost & Appliance Drop-off Site, Curbside Branch Chipping, and Spring Clean-up Dumpsters

Reminder to property owners... the Saukville Dept. of Public Works does NOT collect spring clean-up debris curbside.  You must containerize debris and bring to the Compost Drop-off Site at the DPW yard.  Please help prevent plugged storm sewers by making sure catch basins near your property are clear of debris.

Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Saukville Water Utility will continue flushing hydrants throughout the Village Monday - Thursday, April 29th - May 2nd, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Any discoloration in your water is iron and is not harmful.  Running your faucets for a shot period of time after flushing in your area is complete will clear the lines.  If discoloration occurs, we recommend that you do not do laundry.  If you do laundry and the clothes have a reddish appearance, DO NOT DRY; rather rewash in cold water to remove the discoloration before drying.

Assessments Open Book

The 2019 Assessments Open Book session has been scheduled for Thursday, May 16th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Property owners are welcome to visit Village Hall during this session to meet with the assessors and discuss assessment values for their property.

Summer Playground Program

The Village of Saukville offers a Summer Playground Program in conjunction with the Port Washington Parks & Recreation Dept. that includes creative and energetic leaders, active games, theme craft sessions, and fun field trips.  Fun weekly themes and occasional field trips are all part of the activities.  A trip to the Port Washington outdoor pool, Pirates’ Hollow, is planned once a week (weather permitting).  Children are required to pay their own pool admission, either by pass or by daily fee, and bus fee.  Field trip costs are not included in program fees.  Our goal is to offer a safe and worry-free experience for both the child and parent.  This is not a day-care program, but rather an afternoon alternative of outdoor fun and structured activities geared to kids ages 6 through 12.
