Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Saukville Water Utility will be flushing hydrants throughout the Village Monday - Thursday, April 22nd - April 25th and April 29th - May 2nd, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Any discoloration in your water is iron and is not harmful.  Running your faucets for a shot period of time after flushing in your area is complete will clear the lines.  If discoloration occurs, we recommend that you do not do laundry.  If you do laundry and the clothes have a reddish appearance, DO NOT DRY; rather rewash in cold water to remove the discoloration before drying.
