Grady Park - Written Word ProjectBe a part of Saukville’s new Grady Park Pavilion Area. In addition to the new structure, the Village will be adding new concrete slabs to the site. On some of them the Village wants to include original written words, stories, inspirational sayings, or poems. These words will be stamped into every other slab of the concrete. Submittal Requirements: All residents of the Village of Saukville and students of the Saukville Elementary School and Ozaukee Christian School are eligible to submit their own original words. The words must fit within a maximum of 10 lines, 35 characters per line including spaces, and 225 characters overall including spaces … and must be appropriate for the general public. Be creative. Think sun, fun, family, parks, and community. Entries will be judged on originality of ideas and uplifting thoughts. Please e-mail your ideas to Barb Dickmann, Village President, at bdickmann@village.saukville.wi.us by June 15, 2018. Questions? Please contact Barb Dickmann at 262-284-9423 ex. 1219.
