Public Works - Full-time Operator/Laborer

The Village of Saukville is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Operator/Laborer position.  40 hours per week.  Flexible work hours to meet the operational needs of the organization including occasional weekend and evening hours.  Starting wage range is $19 to $21 per hour with benefits, DOQ.  A pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with commercial driver’s license (CDL) classification.  Deadline: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

Compost Site Attendants (Part-time, Seasonal)

Multiple openings for the 2018 Season - Mid-April through Mid-November.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturdays only, on a rotating schedule.  Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance of the Village Compost Site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main Street.

Winter Parking Restrictions

No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village of Saukville between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., Dec. 1 - April 1.

Recycling - Fees apply:  furniture, Freon units, electronics, household batteries, microwave ovens, water softeners, tires, carpet, wood, more.

2018 Dog & Cat Licenses

All Village of Saukville pet owners owning a cat or dog older than six months are required by Village Ordinance to purchase a pet license.  2018 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall.  A late penalty will be imposed for pet license processing after March 31^st.  Proof of rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for licensing new pets and those with expired vaccine info.

Fire Department
