The guide includes a preparedness checklist, tips to stay healthy and warm, and a winter weather check for your car. There are also actions to protect your home and reduce property damage. This information will help you prepare for, stay safe during, and recover from harsh winter weather and storms.

Transmission Line WorkAmerican Transmission Co. owns and operates the electric transmission system in southeast Wisconsin with portions that pass through the Village of Saukville. Work has begun to install, by helicopter, a fiber optic wire on the transmission structures along a 25-mile corridor between Saukville and Sussex. If you see a helicopter flying close to the power lines, do not be alarmed; this is for scheduled ATC maintenance. This work is currently scheduled to run through March 2018.

News & Services"As The Snow Falls"... Important Tips Regarding Snow Removal Snow Plow SafetyPlease treat snow plow drivers with courtesy and caution. Keeping clear of their operations allows them to do their job quickly, efficiently, and safely. - Obey the winter parking restrictions.
- Do not park on the street if it is snowing or you see a plow approaching.
- Don't pull out in front of a plow at the last second.
- Keep at least 300 feet of distance from the rear of a plow as it may stop or back up without warning.
Winter Parking RestrictionsNo person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village of Saukville between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Questions should be directed to the Saukville Police Dept. at 262-284-0444. 2018 Dog & Cat LicensesAll Village of Saukville pet owners owning a cat or dog older than six months are required by Village Ordinance to purchase a pet license. 2018 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall. A late penalty will be imposed for pet license processing after March 31, 2018. Proof of rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for licensing new pets and those with expired vaccine info. Part-Time & Volunteer Opportunities Compost Site Attendants (Seasonal)
Multiple openings for the 2018 Season - Mid-April through Mid-November. Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturdays only, on a rotating schedule. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance of the Village Compost Site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main St.
Interested Parties should complete an employment application and return it to Village Hall, 639 E. Green Bay Ave. Applications can be obtained from the website or at Village Hall.
