Special Event: Baseball Display at the Library

Our Library is proud to house a substantial collection of items related to the rich history of sports in Saukville, especially baseball and the baseball teams Saukville A.C. and the Saukville Saints.  These items were donated to the library as part of the Jim & John Peterson Collection.
 
This wide array of items, including full uniforms, memorabilia, statistics records, at-bat-logs, photographs that go as far back as the beginning of the past century, presents a very comprehensive picture of a very active sports community, which managed to achieve multiple recognitions throughout time.
 
Next time you visit the Library check out the special display we have put together to share with our patrons!  The Oscar Grady Public Library is located at 151 S Main Street in Saukville.

Saukville American Legion - Spaghetti Dinner

Spaghetti Dinner includes salad, French bread, coffee or milk, and homemade desserts!

Transmission Line Work

American Transmission Co. owns and operates the electric transmission system in southeast Wisconsin with portions that pass through the Village of Saukville.  Work has begun to install, by helicopter, a fiber optic wire on the transmission structures along a 25-mile corridor between Saukville and Sussex.   If you see a helicopter flying close to the power lines, do not be alarmed; this is for scheduled ATC maintenance.  This work is currently scheduled to run through March 2018.

Snow Plow Safety

• Obey the winter parking restrictions.
• Do not park on the street if it is snowing or you see a plow approaching.
• Don't pull out in front of a plow at the last second.
• Keep at least 300 feet of distance from the rear of a plow as it may stop or back up without warning.

Winter Parking Restrictions

No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village of Saukville between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Recycling - Fees apply:  furniture, Freon units, electronics, household batteries, microwave ovens, water softeners, tires, carpet, wood, more.

2018 Dog & Cat Licenses

All Village of Saukville pet owners owning a cat or dog older than six months are required by Village Ordinance to purchase a pet license.  2018 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall.  A late penalty will be imposed for pet license processing after March 31, 2018.  Proof of rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for licensing new pets and those with expired vaccine info.

Compost Site Attendants (Seasonal)

Multiple openings for the 2018 Season - Mid-April through Mid-November.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturdays only, on a rotating schedule.  Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance of the Village Compost Site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main St.  

Interested Parties should complete an employment application and return it to Village Hall, 639 E.
