Tree Chipping 

Monday, January 8th & Monday, January 15th 

The Following Rules Apply:

  • Remove all Decorations, wire, tinsel, hardware, lights and stands for tree - No cloth, paper or plastic cover bags.
  • Place trees curbside no sooner than 24 hours prior to the day of chipping and no later than 6:30 am that day. 
  • In the event of snowfall, please clear the tree of snow.
  • Disposal of trees prior to or after the scheduled dates will be the homeowner's responsibility. 
  • Do not put trees out for regular trash pick-up. 
  • Waste Management will not collect trees. 
Pet License

2024 Pet Licenses

Village of Saukville residents owning a cat or dog that is older than six months are required by Ordinance ยง 61-8: to purchase an annual pet license. 2024 Licenses can now be purchased at Village Hall. Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required. A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31st.

Dog License Fees: $8 spayed/neutered; $10 not spayed/neutered; $5 late penalty after March 31st. 

Cat License Fees: $5 spayed/neutered; $7 not spayed/neutered; $3 late penalty after March 31st.

Property Tax

Property Taxes 

2023 Property Tax bills have been mailed. Full, or first installment, payments are due by January 31, 2024. Please read your bill carefully for payment instructions.

Payment Options

Village Hall:  Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Note closing and hour adjustments below)

No Cash Payments Please. Cash payments should be paid at PWSB, Saukville Branch (Inside lobby payment required; include correct payment stub).

Port Washington State Bank, Saukville Branch - ONLY! - Must pay inside- not at drive-through tellers, Bring your tax bill to process payments. Overpayment refunds can be processed immediately. 

U. S. MAIL - Payments postmarked on or before the due date will be considered paid as of the postmarked date. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment if you would like a receipt. 

Online Payments - Online payments are accepted through the AllPaid-GovPayNet secure link HERE. Credit and debit card payments will be assessed a service fee of 2.95% of the total tax payment. See the Tax information page on the Village website for payment information.

Employment Opportunities

PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER or EMT

The Saukville Fire Dept. is looking for quality individuals who wish to serve the community as a Firefighter or EMT.  If you are interested in becoming a part of our team, just complete the online Membership Information Request Form, stop by the Saukville Fire Department any Monday night between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., or call 262-284-5800 and leave a message.  School and training is provided.  To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be a resident of the Saukville Fire Department protection area or work within the Village.

Collection Services provided by Waste Management:

Regular curbside collection day for the Village of Saukville is Thursday (Friday on weeks when a major holiday falls Monday-Thursday).  Recycle Collection is every other week.
Carts must be curbside by 7 a.m. on collection day.

Contact Village Hall by 3 p.m. on Thursday if possible. Village Hall must be informed no later than 10 a.m. on Friday to ensure your weekly collection.
