Community Rivers Program (CRP)
Coming Together For Clean Water
We all benefit from having clean and healthy rivers. That's why we're coming together as a community to plan, design, and build projects that will keep our stretch of the Milwaukee River beautiful and livable for generations to come. For more info and upcoming events, visit us at:

CRP Lecture Series: What's the Issue with Invasive Species?
Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00-7:30 PM at Riveredge Nature Center Barn
Purple Loostrife, Buckthorn, Rusty Crayfish.. What do all these species have in common? They are invasive and can wreak havoc on our native ecosystems! Join us as we learn from the Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator with Washington County on how to identify some of the invasive aquatic and plant species within the Milwaukee River Basin. You'll not only find out how to identify species, but how to prevent them from spreading further and what management techniques can help control them. Registration can be found at the Community Rivers Program webpage.
