The Village of Saukville's Water Department will be spot flushing hydrants from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

2023 Pet Licenses

Village of Saukville residents owning a cat or dog that is older than six months are required by Ordinance ยง61-8 to purchase an annual pet license.  2023 Licenses can now be purchased at Village Hall.  Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required. 
A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31st.


Dog License fees:  

$8.00 spayed/neutered; $10.00 not spayed/neutered; $5.00 late penalty after March 31st.

Cat License fees:
$5.00 spayed/neutered; $7.00 not spayed/neutered; $3.00 late penalty after March 31s

Winter Parking Restrictions

Winter Parking Restrictions are in effect now through March 31, 2023.


Municipal Code Sec. 192.7D:  No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. December 1st through March 31st. Physicians on emergency calls and persons having special written permission from the Police Department are exempted from the terms of this section.

Trash & Recycle Collection

Collection Services provided by Waste Management:

Regular curbside collection day for the Village of Saukville is Thursday (Friday on weeks when a major holiday falls Monday-Thursday).  Recycle Collection is every other week.
Carts must be curbside by 7 a.m. on collection day.

Residential Trash/Recycle Collection Missed on Thursday Collection Day?
Contact Village Hall by 3 p.m. on Thursday if possible. Village Hall must be informed no later than 10 a.m. on Friday to ensure your weekly collection.

Employment Opportunities

PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER or EMT

The Saukville Fire Dept. is looking for quality individuals who wish to serve the community as a Firefighter or EMT.  If you are interested in becoming a part of our team, just complete the online Membership Information Request Form, stop by the Saukville Fire Department any Monday night between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., or call 262-284-5800 and leave a message.  School and training is provided.  To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be a resident of the Saukville Fire Department protection area or work within the Village.

CRP Lecture Series: What's the Issue with Invasive Species?

Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00-7:30 PM at Riveredge Nature Center Barn

Purple Loostrife, Buckthorn, Rusty Crayfish.. What do all these species have in common? They are invasive and can wreak havoc on our native ecosystems! Join us as we learn from the Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator with Washington County on how to identify some of the invasive aquatic and plant species within the Milwaukee River Basin. You'll not only find out how to identify species, but how to prevent them from spreading further and what management techniques can help control them.
