NEW - Library Lockers

Oscar Grady Public Library now offers 24/7 library material pick-up using outdoor smart lockers.

Select "Oscar Grady Smart Lockers" when placing your holds in the Monarch2Go app or online catalog: www.monarchcatalog.org

Lockers are located at the Dries Street Library parking lot.

Winter Parking Restrictions

Winter Parking Restrictions are in effect December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023.

Municipal Code Sec. 192.7D: No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. December 1^st through March 31^st. Physicians on emergency calls and persons having special written permission from the Police Department are exempted from the terms of this section.

All Municipal Offices and Facilities are CLOSED for
the Christmas Holiday, Friday, Dec. 23rd
and Monday, Dec. 26th.

Property Taxes

2022 Property Tax bills have been mailed. Full, or first installment, payments are due by January 31, 2023. Please read your bill carefully for payment instructions.

Cash payments should be paid at PWSB, Saukville Branch (inside lobby payment required; include correct payment stub).

Must pay inside - not at drive-through tellers. Bring your tax bill to process payment. Overpayment refunds can be processed immediately.

Payments postmarked on or before the due date will be considered paid as of the postmarked date. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment if you would like a receipt.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

Online payments are accepted through the AllPaid-GovPayNet secure link on our website. Credit and debit card payments will be assessed a service fee of 2.65% of the total tax payment. See the Tax Information page on the Village website for payment information.

2023 Pet Licenses

Village of Saukville residents owning a cat or dog that is older than six months are required by Ordinance §61-8 to purchase an annual pet license. 2023 Licenses can now be purchased at Village Hall. Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required.
A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31^st.

Dog License fees:

$8.00 spayed/neutered; $10.00 not spayed/neutered; $5.00 late penalty after March 31^st.

Cat License fees:
$5.00 spayed/neutered; $7.00 not spayed/neutered; $3.00 late penalty after March 31^s

Consider running for Village Office

The Village currently has Village President and 3 Trustee positions up for re-election in April. Nomination papers can now be circulated from December 1, 2022 through January 3, 2023. Trash & Recycle Collection

Collection Services provided by Waste Management:

Regular curbside collection day for the Village of Saukville is Thursday (Friday on weeks when a major holiday falls Monday-Thursday). Recycle Collection is every other week.
Carts must be curbside by 7 a.m. on collection day.

Residential Trash/Recycle Collection Missed on Thursday Collection Day?
Contact Village Hall by 3 p.m. on Thursday if possible. Village Hall must be informed no later than 10 a.m. on Friday to ensure your weekly collection.

PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER or EMT

The Saukville Fire Dept. is looking for quality individuals who wish to serve the community as a Firefighter or EMT. If you are interested in becoming a part of our team, just complete the online Membership Information Request Form, stop by the Saukville Fire Department any Monday night between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., or call 262-284-5800 and leave a message. School and training is provided. To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be a resident of the Saukville Fire Department protection area or work within the Village.
