Hydrant FlushingThe Water Department will resume hydrant flushing throughout the Village Monday - Thursday, Nov. 1st - Nov. 4th between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
There may be some discoloration in your water during this process. This is iron and is not harmful. We recommend that you do not do laundry if your water is discolored. Running your faucets for a short period of time after flushing is completed in your area should clear the lines. You may want to bottle some water for drinking, cooking, etc. prior to the flushing dates.
