River History Day - Saturday, Oct. 16th, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Crossroads Museum, 200 N. Mill Street.
Sponsored by the Saukville Historical Society (SHS) and the Riveredge Community Rivers Program (CRP), River History Day is a free family-friendly event highlighting the importance of the Milwaukee River to the community of Saukville in the past, present and future. The event will feature hands-on activities for children, a DPW demonstration, speakers, tours of the 1915 Firehouse (including a photo opportunity with a vintage pumper truck!), a shoreline clean-up, food and more.
