Employment Opportunity

Grounds/Facility Maintenance/Custodian - Part-time

The Village of Saukville is currently seeking a part-time person to fill the position - Water/Wastewater Utility - Grounds/Facilities Maintenance/Custodian - at the Wastewater Utility Plant, 1600 Cottontail Lane, Saukville. Duties include, but are not limited to, lawn maintenance, grounds-keeping, and minor landscaping around all Utility owned properties - 15 hours/week May through October, and custodial duties of all Utility buildings - 5 hours/week - year round.  Hours are flexible, during regular weekday hours.
Interested parties should complete an employment application and return it to the Village of Saukville, 639 E. Green Bay Ave., Saukville, WI 53080.  Application forms can also be obtained obtained at Saukville Village Hall.

9-11 Memorial Event - Saturday, Sept. 11th

Memorial Parade starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Saukville Fire Dept., 520 W. Dekora St., and will proceed down STH 33 to Grady Park, followed by a memorial program at the baseball field.  Sponsored by the Saukville Fire Dept. and Saukville American Legion Post #470.


Annual Custom Auto Show - Sat., Sept. 18th - 8a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saukville's Annual Custom Auto Show, sponsored by the Saukville Fire Dept., offers a day of fun for the custom auto enthusiast!  See a variety of custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more on display.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to support the Saukville Fire Dept.

Saukville American Legion Spaghetti Dinner

2021 Pet Licenses

Village of Saukville residents owning a cat or dog that is older than six months are required by Ordinance §61-8 to purchase a pet license.  2021 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall.  Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required.  A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31st.

Dog License fees:  
$8.00 spayed/neutered; $10.00  not spayed/neutered; $5.00 late penalty after March 31st.
Cat License fees:
$5.00 spayed/neutered; $7.00  not spayed/neutered; $3.00 late penalty after March 31st.

Upper Milwaukee River Watershed Bus Tour - Saturday, Sept. 18th, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Departing from and returning to Riveredge Nature Center
Jump on a bus with the Community Rivers Program to see the Milwaukee River Watershed from a new perspective!  This exclusive tour experience involves barnstorming sections of the river to visit the Fredonia Wastewater Treatment Facility, the Paulus Dairy Farm, and Bratt Woods Preserve highlighting local actions for the betterment of the Milwaukee River!  Lunch will be provided and bus travel space is limited to 13 individuals.

Saukville Storm Drain Stenciling - Tuesday, Sept. 28th, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
As the seasons change, have you ever wondered what happens to the leaves after they fall? Join the Community Rivers Program for storm drain cleanup and stenciling to prevent this ‘leaf litter’ from leaching excess phosphorus and nitrogen into our waterways. Along the way, you will learn more about how this process impacts aquatic critters and plants. Sign up as a family, a group, or an individual; we provide the supplies and you provide the manpower! Children must be over the age of 6 and be accompanied by an adult.

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept.  Please contact the respective department for complete info.


Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS.  Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website.  For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.

Police Department
The Saukville Police Dept. is seeking dedicated, community minded individuals to become part of our volunteer Police Reserves team.  For more info, call the Police Dept. at 262-284-0444.
