Curbside Leaf Collection

The Village will collect leaves curbside, as time and weather permit, through Dec.7th.  Do NOT place brush or plant materials in leaf piles.  Keep clear of storm drains.  Avoid parking vehicles on or near leaf piles.  

Utility Bills / Property Tax Payments

- Village Hall no longer accepts $100 bills or cash payments over $500 for Water/Sewer bill or property tax payments.  Exact payment required (no change made). 
- Property Tax cash payments over $500 must be paid at Port Washington State Bank.

Water Rate Increase

The PSC has approved a rate case application from the Village of Saukville to increase water rates by 3% effective November 2, 2020.  The 4th quarter utility billing will reflect a prorated water service increase for the quarter beginning October 1, 2020.  The Water Utility last increased rates on October 1, 2019.  See Notice of Rate Increase.

Unclaimed/Abandoned Property 

Public Notice dated Oct. 12, 2020:  Pursuant to WI State Statute #170.105 the Saukville Police Department is giving notice of unclaimed/abandoned property.  If the unclaimed/abandoned items are not claimed within 90 days, they will be disposed of according to Saukville Police Dept. policy.  The unclaimed/abandoned property includes miscellaneous bikes.  Contact the Saukville P.D. at 262-284-0444 with questions.

  • The front lobby of Village Hall is open.  Ring bell at lobby window for service.
  • All Village Facilities follow the State of Wisconsin and Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department requirements and recommendations related to COVID-19 regarding physical distancing and face coverings.
  • Call in, Online, and Email services are encouraged.
  • Payments and Other Correspondence can be sealed in an envelope and placed in the outside drop box at Village Hall (no cash please) or mailed to Village Hall. The drop box is checked daily.  Utility bill payment options include: include bottom payment stub and check in a sealed envelope in the outside drop box, pay online, or mail payment stub and check via US Postal Service.  See Utility Bill Payment & Rate Information.

COVID-19 Information

As the Public Health Emergency progresses, the Village of Saukville will continue to refer to the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department guidelines and their "Blueprint for Reopening FAQs"  and make adjustments as needed. 

Gov. Evers Extends Statewide Mandatory Mask Order:

9/21/2020: Gov. Tony Evers extended the Emergency Order requiring individuals to wear face coverings when indoors and not in a private residence, with some exceptions, as clarified and defined in the order.  This order will expire November 21, 2020.

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept.  Please contact the respective department for complete info.


Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS.  Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website.  For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.

Police Department
The Saukville Police Dept. is seeking dedicated, community minded individuals to become part of our volunteer Police Reserves team.  For more info, call the Police Dept. at 262-284-0444.
