Road Construction Projects


Cedar Sauk Road Resurfacing
Resurfacing work is underway on Cedar Sauk Road between CTH O and Maple Road.  Cedar Sauk Road will remain open to local traffic.  All completion dates are weather dependent.  Click Here for details.


STH 33 Bridge Project

The Wisconsin DOT has set the  STH 33 Bridge project start date for Monday, Aug. 3rd.  The bridge will remain open to thru traffic.  Lanes will be shifted to one side or the other depending on the side of the bridge being worked on.  The roadway will be milled and overlaid.  The settling at the abutments will be filled and leveled before paving.  Displaced sections of sidewalk will be replaced.  All completion dates are weather dependent.

Property Maintenance Ordinance - Updated July 2020

Chapter 151, Ordinance #803, of the Village of Saukville Code of Ordinances requires routine maintenance of lawns, landscaping, and yards by all property owners.  This Ordinance was updated July, 2020.  See Property Maintenance Ordinance #803.

Oscar Grady Library - COVID-19 Update

Following the guidelines of the Washington-Ozaukee Counties Public Health Department (WOPHD), and in the latest report released on 7/22/2020 which confirmed Ozaukee County to be High Risk (RED) for the spread of infection of COVID-19, the Oscar Grady Public Library will be stepping back a phase in our re-opening plan.  Effective immediately we will reduce occupancy levels to 25% and encourage patrons to use the curbside pickup service.  All outdoor, socially-distanced events which were being planned and/or already scheduled by the library are now canceled until further notice.

2019 Property Taxes - 2nd Installments
Reminder - Payment is due in full to the Ozaukee County Treasurer on any remaining 2019 property tax amount or the 2nd installment, on or before July 31, 2020.

Cash Payment Update
As of 7/1/2020, we No Longer Accept $100 bills or cash payments over $500 for water/sewer bill or property tax payments.  Cash payments with $100 bills or over $500 must be paid at the Port Washington State Bank.

Pet Licensing - RENEWAL LATE FEES NOW APPLIED
Village residents owning a dog or cat that is older than six months are required by Village Ordinance 61-8 to purchase a pet license.  To obtain a 2020 licenses, please provide a copy of your pet's current rabies vaccination certificate and the appropriate fee.  Licenses can be purchased at Village Hall, by mail, or drop off in the outside drop box (in a sealed envelope - no cash please) at Village Hall.  If by mail or drop box, the license(s) and tag(s) will be mailed to you. 

Fees - Per Dog License - each:  $8 Altered; $10 Non-altered  ($5 renewal late fee)
Fees - Per Cat License - each:   $5 Altered;   $7 Non-altered  ($3 renewal late fee)
LATE FEES (on renewal licenses) WILL BE APPLIED.

Advanced Disposal Collection Update

Advanced Disposal does NOT collect any trash or recycling that is not placed in carts.  Loose or bagged items placed outside the cart will not be collected.
Large Item Pick-up has resumed and is by request only.  Call 800-387-0949.

Outdoor Pickleball

Organized outdoor Pickleball games in the Village are now taking place every week through October 2020 at the parks listed below, at the following days and times: Mondays at Quade Park from 8-10 am, and Wednesdays at Grady Park (under the lights) from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  This is an open invitation to anyone who is interested in playing organized outdoor Pickleball in the Village of Saukville.  All skill levels are invited.  Physical distancing will be maintained at all times, at 6 feet between each player.  Handshakes, hugs, and paddle tapping are out.  Use of hand sanitizer and disinfecting of pickleballs is encouraged . Rummage sale signs are permitted on private property without a permit provided they are not erected more than 24 hours before, and taken down not later than 24 hours after the rummage sale.

Fire Department
