Cedar Sauk Road Resurfacing

Resurfacing work on Cedar Sauk Road is scheduled to begin July 17^th. Major completion is expected by the end of August with final completion expected by the end of September. The project includes reconstruction of the intersection of Cedar Sauk Road and CTH O.
All completion dates are weather dependent.

2019 Property Taxes - 2nd Installments
Reminder - Payment is due in full to the Ozaukee Co. Treasurer on any remaining property tax amount or the 2^nd installment, on or before July 31, 2020.

Cash Payment Update
As of 7/1/2020, we No Longer Accept $100 bills or cash payments over $500 for water/sewer bill or property tax payments. Cash payments with $100 bills or over $500 must be paid at the Port Washington State Bank.

Pet Licensing - LATE FEES APPLIED EFF. JULY 15 (updated)
Village residents owning a dog or cat that is older than six months are required by Village Ordinance 61-8 to purchase a pet license. To obtain a 2020 licenses, please provide a copy of your pet's current rabies vaccination certificate and the appropriate fee. Licenses can be purchased at Village Hall, by mail, or drop off in the outside drop box (in a sealed envelope - no cash please) at Village Hall. If by mail or drop box, the license(s) and tag(s) will be mailed to you.

Fees - Per Dog License - each: $8 Altered; $10 Non-altered ($5 late fee)
Fees - Per Cat License - each: $5 Altered; $7 Non-altered ($3 late fee)
LATE FEES (on renewals) WILL BE APPLIED EFFECTIVE JULY 15, 2020.

Advanced Disposal Collection Update

Advanced Disposal does NOT collect any trash or recycling that is not placed in carts. Loose or bagged items placed outside the cart will not be collected.
Large Item Pick-up has resumed and is by request only. Call 800-387-0949.

Cross Connection Inspection Program

HydroCorp is the Village's Cross Connection Inspection Program manager. If you receive an Inspection Request letter from HydroCorp, please contact them directly at the phone number indicated to make an appointment, or with any questions.

Village Hall - UPDATE

The front lobby of Village Hall is Open.
Call in, online, and email services are encouraged.

Rummage sale signs are permitted on private property without a permit provided they are not erected more than 24 hours before, and taken down not later than 24 hours after the rummage sale.

Family Fishing Fun - July 22^nd - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Spend the afternoon on the banks of the Milwaukee River at Ehlers Park with a pole in your hand and hopefully a few bites on your line! Learn how to tie a hook on your line, bait your hook, and safely cast your line into the water. With the assistance of a Riveredge Naturalist, we will try to catch and identify each fish before releasing them back into their home - the Milwaukee River. Bait and poles are provided or bring your own.
Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
No need to pre-register! This day is free to Saukville residents as part of the Community Rivers Program. We will have a limited number of poles available on a first-come, first-serve basis, or feel free to bring your own!

Part-Time & Volunteer Opportunities

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept. Please contact the respective department for complete info.

Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS. Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website. For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.
