Summer  Events Flyer - Including the following events:

How to Catch the Rain: Rain Barrel Workshop - June 18th - 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Learn about the importance of rain barrels not only for the environment and our stormwater drains, but also to help lower your water bill!  Come by for an educational evening that begins with a presentation on rain barrels and ends with your family having the opportunity to take one home!  The cost is free but pre-registration is required.  Please email cbauer@riveredge.us if you are interested in attending!

Family Fishing Fun - July 22nd - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Spend the afternoon on the banks of the Milwaukee River at Ehlers Park with a pole in your hand and hopefully a few bites on your line!  Learn how to tie a hook on your line, bait your hook, and safely cast your line into the water.  With the assistance of a Riveredge Naturalist, we will try to catch and identify each fish before releasing them back into their home - the Milwaukee River.  Bait and poles are provided or bring your own.
Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

No need to pre-register!  This day is free to Saukville residents as part of the Community Rivers Program.  We’ll have a limited number of poles available on a first-come, first-serve basis, or feel free to bring your own!
