Spring Yard Clean-up Reminder:

The Dept. of Public Works does not collect yard waste curbside.  Please do not place your yard clean-up debris on the street/curbside.  You will need to containerize it and bring it to the DPW Compost Site when it opens for the season - opening this year on Saturday, April 11th.

Pet Waste Reminder

With the snow melting and more people enjoying walks through the Village, dog owners are reminded to clean up waste that your dog may deposit on your walks.  Per Village Ordinance, it is unlawful for the pet owner to fail to remove pet excrement immediately after deposit on public ways.   Violators may be ticketed and fined.  Please help keep Village sidewalks and public areas clean and enjoyable for all this spring.

Cross Connection Inspection Program:

The Village's Cross Connection Inspection Program, managed by HydroCorp, will continue in 2020.  Any parties receiving an Inspection Request Letter should contact HydroCorp, as indicated in the letter, to schedule an appointment.  This action is required by the Wisconsin DNR and the Village of Saukville.

Winter Parking Restrictions are in effect through April 1, 2020.  Parking for longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on any Village street is prohibited.  Contact the Saukville Police Dept. at 262-284-0444 with questions.

2020 Spring Election & Presidential Preference - April 7, 2020

Voters - Did you know you have options to cast your ballot for the April 7, 2020 election (and every election).
For the traditional voter who enjoys the excitement of Election Day, polls will be open for the Village of Saukville from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at the American Legion, 601 W. Dekora St.  Our election workers will be happy to assist you and we will be keeping the election facility as clean and safe as possible.  Extra efforts will be taken to continually wipe down voting booths and election equipment throughout the day.  For voters' convenience, hand sanitizer and tissues will also be available at each station.
Not up for Election Day?  Request an absentee ballot online at www.myvote.wi.gov prior to April 2nd, and a ballot will be mailed to you.  Voters may also request a mailed ballot in writing to the Village Clerk but be sure to include a copy of your photo ID with your request.  This works great for travelers; those who have a suppressed immune system; or voters who just can't make it to Village Hall during working hours.  Please be sure to allow mailing time so the ballot is returned on or before Election Day.
Voters can also vote in-person via absentee ballot at Village Hall prior to election day during regular office hours.  In-person voting ends on Friday, April 3rd at 5:00 pm so plan ahead.
If you have questions or need assistance with any of your voting options, please contact Saukville Village Hall at (262)284-9423.
