The Village of Saukville Water Department will be spot flushing hydrants throughout the Village Monday, October 24th - Thursday, October 28th, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Flushing will resume October 31st through November 3rd if necessary.
Residents may want to fill containers with water to be used for drinking, cooking, cleaning, flushing toilets, etc.
Any discoloration in your water is iron and is not harmful. Running your faucets for a short period of time after flushing in your area is completed will clear the lines.
We recommend that you do not do laundry during the flushing period. If you do and your laundry has a reddish appearance, DO NOT DRY; rather rewash in cold water after flushing is completed to remove the discoloration.
